Mission, Vision, & Origin

The NDTC is a non-profit corporation that serves public sector law enforcement agencies. The NDTC also exists as a for-profit LLC that serves private sector enterprises. Under an exclusive licensing agreement, the NDTC utilizes DISC Esoterica® to provide the most advanced and effective de-escalation training to date.

Mission:  To deliver the most advanced de-escalation training curated by research, innovation, and implementation of best practices. 

Vision:  To create the opportunity for positive outcomes during police-citizen interactions.   

DISC Esoterica® was developed in a university program funded by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and administered by the Defense Intelligence Agency. This new version of William Marston's 1928 DISC model has been taught to the intelligence community, military, universities and private companies, and it has been used in de-escalation and insider threat training since 2015.
